new week; new styles...

while out for dinner, i ran into a good friend, Mae*

i loved what she was wearing: the torn rugged hemline of her cutoff shorts went really well with the black and pastel graphic shirt and to complete the look a casual black

blazer with the sleeves rolled up.

her gold jewlerry help glam up the oufit!

and so it seems like "themed parties" were intrend now

eversince halloween, hmmm.. i guess people just like to dress up! :)

well the themed party i went to this week was my friend's "dirty fantasies" house party.

these two lovely ladies here, Brooke* and Debra* are both in a sexy secretary outfit.

i really liked it though, i loved how the the crisp white blouse just matched the high waisted pencil skirt. the belt just made the whole outfit.

a great classic.

now lookin at styles over the globe,

16 year old Taylor Momsen, a young actress in well known in the teen serie "Gossip Girl",

now.....im not sure what to say about her look,

the stockings look abit too hooker-ish for a girl her age to be wearing...

i think shiny black leggings would look better and would go great with the blazer !

what do you guys think?

btw...i like her friend's boxy brown bag* :)

while on a night out ive come across some gorgeous girls with fabulous outfits..

this lady's name is Melissa, and she was on her way to a "Futuristic" themed party

i love how her outfit color coordonate; all silver! and her platinum blonde bob (wig) just makes things a million times snazzierrr! ;)

Yolanda*(left), is glowing in her MNG feather printed maxi dress, while her wavy bohemian tousled hair gi ves a fun and carefree feel.
Tong*(right), on the other hand went for an all black and a splash of color. a fabulous juxtaposition; the loose black cami, the tighted fitted denims and then last but not least her gold tippe pumps!

wanna know what i wore out? :)

yup, keeping it simple and classic, black high waisted skirt paired with a white tank, and to top it off wonderful 4 inch black aldo heels...

what do you guys like to wear on a night out?

so today i'll be lookin at the types and movements of fashion.

there are 3 types of fashion:

Basic/ Classic
Style
Fad

and 3 types of fashion movements:

The Innovators
Early acceptors
early majority
late majority
laggards
abdonment

so lets start of with the 3 types of fashion...

Basic/Classic: The Converse

Converse has been around since 1908, and is still being worn today.

its known for portraying a grunge rock look and can be worn with any outfit and look.

personally, me, myself i love the converse! i've been rocking the classic black low ankle cut ones! theyre so comfy! lovessss it!

so recently i've been seeing alot of individual styles which i'm loving

coming across some stylish ladies here are photos of their way of expressing themselves into fashion or aka their "STYLE".

and all black outift. simple yet alluring.

these gold gladiator sandals make a really good contrast to her black outfit. and kudos to those pretty painted toe nails - another color splash added to the glowing sandals!
